Mom's Honey Cake Recipe
Hey guys every year around the holidays my mom always makes her famous honey cake. It’s one of my favorite times of the year. The house always smells like sweet supple honey and the cake is always super spongy. So now I want to share this recipe with you guys so that you can make it at home. Ingredients
8 eggs separated
1 cup of sugar
1 ½ cup of High Gluten Flour
½ cup of honey
2-3 tbls of whiskey
½ tsp of baking powder
½ tsp of baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
½ cup of oil
2 loaf pans
Directions
Beat egg whites until stiff and slowly add 1 by 1 to egg yolks.
Fold egg whites into yolk mixture.
Add all other ingredients and mix together with egg mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50 to 60 minutes.
Lastly, invert the cakes immediately after taking cakes out of the oven.
